BFF Birthday "Card"

My bestie is turning 40 (so am I BTW) and I wanted to make her something special. I wanted to make a mini album of sorts but found that I didn't havs as many pics of us together as I'd hoped for. UGH!! Need to do something about that! Anyway... I decided Heidi Swapp Memory Files would work perfectly for this!!! I LOVE Heidi Swapp! These mini files are perfect for the card I decided to create for Nikki.

We've known each other for 38 years now and have been inseparable since we're were 2!! So I wanted to make something special. I had some photos of us as kids but not many as adults so I grabbed what I had and went to town!! The cover is of us at our 20 year high school class reunion. It worked great for the cover of the card. I used the Sugar Chic paper pack and banners as well as some washi, enamel dots, and sequence.

On the inside, I splattered the Mustard Color Shine. Loved how that turned out.

I learned how to make this interactive scrapbook page from Create To Remember on My Craft Channel. Heidi shows how to add more photos to a page easily and creatively. I love this!!!

I added lots of embellishments to this and just had a blast with it. I can't wait to give it to Nikki.

Thanx for stopping by and have a great day!!!
