First you need to cut a hole in the bread. I used a glass. Grease up a skillet with lots of butter and but the bread and cut out hole on it. When they are golden brown, flip over and crack an egg in the hole. Salt & pepper to taste and cook to desired degree of doneness.

ReplyDeleteGosh!! I haven't made these in a while. They are great for camping. Make a fire, and use that old cast iron skillet. I sometimes take a fork and stir the egg up in the eye, so it will cook to a hard egg, if runnys aren't your style. Nice blogs sweetie, keep soaring! xoxo
